62 miles.. under 3 hours… that’s an average of about 20MPH on a bike. fuck i’m fat.

I know it’s not exactly an original thought, but it’s amazing to understand your importance in someone life. too often we strive to be important in someone elses life, while shrugging off those who really need you to be important to them.
as a relatively new father it’s humbling and heartwarming to see how important I am to my little girl, whether it’s a glass of milk or to fall asleep by her side to keep the “monstas” away. as she’s gotten older her needs have changed from provider of food and a clean diaper to companion, protector and of course parent.
I hope all of my friends one day get to experience this. it’s greater than any love on earth.
